BODMAS

BODMAS is an acronym to help children remember the order of mathematical operations – the correct order in which to solve maths problems. BODMAS stands for

B-Brackets,
O-Orders (powers/indices or roots),
D-Division,
M-Multiplication,
A-Addition,
S-Subtraction.
